A tell that a man is unframed is his reliance on others to make him feel better. When a man is framed, he will not rely on others for his own emotional state. This is the difference between a masculine man and feminine guys and women. How does solitude help frame? Read on.
What does it mean to be masculine? It means to have a leader’s mind. And what is required to lead? A strong sense of self. When a man believes more in his own sense of self than others, he will not be easily controlled by their opinion or will. The leader must be above others.
When a man allows himself solitude, he is training himself to feel content outside peer pressure. He is training his inner voice to regulate itself outside the influence of group think. To be apart from the masses is to be free of their influence. Solitude strengthens self.
The Wall Speaks book is about masculine frame, it teaches how to live with one woman. Frame is not about promiscuity.
When Moses was lost in the wilderness with Israelites, he isolated himself in a mountain to distance his thoughts from their thoughts. This allowed him the mind of separation of individual and the group. And then God spoke to him. Christ did the same.
To be leader is to believe more in the individual self than the surrounding masses that we must lead. The inner voice must be louder than the loudness of a mob. We must believe in ourselves completely and trust our inner voice.
This is the fundamental purpose of practicing solitude. It trains us to rely on ourselves emotionally while turning up the volume on our inner voice. It allows the necessary separation between us and others for a leader’s mind. This strengthens masculine frame.
