God is good always!
Heaven is rich with silver and gold.
A mighty son pleads for my forgiveness, they say.
T’is dark around here…
The glittery future that lured me, is lost in the noise.
The path set before me is lurid and slippery.
Companions have distanced themselves
as echos of sane voices beckon me back.
I listen, hesitate but scoff and trudge forth
‘there might be gold at the next bend’
I muse to myself, then hurry forward clueless.
Boom! Pough! my ego is pricked.
I hang my head down, heading back.
Perhaps there’s still some pigs feed for me.
On the bend called carelessness recently embraced
promising tidings litter my way,
i stop and consider,
‘is this now the promise of all?’
“practice patience’, a voice remind me.
The broken heart,
fastened together by memories of a better tomorrow
The flames of hell lick my bottom,
and between sitting and rest, i chose standing
The sun now rises noticingly,
healings abound on its rays
i take a gulp
soon am dead and gone
some scoff, others are inspired by my introversy
