Grief surrounding miscarriage is rarely recognized by family and friends, yet it is just as painful and difficult for the sufferer as many other losses. It may be that the longed-for child gave hope and dreams for a future family life. Plans that are now on hold.
My beautiful child,
I know your passing will teach me to be stronger
I know your passing will teach me to be more anchored in my faith
I know your passing will teach me to be more grateful for all that I have been blessed with.
For you my baby,
I will try and hold my head high and be strong, because I was privileged enough to nurture you for those few precious weeks
I will always feel honored to have had experienced the miracle of carrying you in my womb.
I will never forget you. So fly little wing
Fly where only angels sing
Fly away, the time is right
Go now, find the light…
For All the Lost Babies
They’re sleeping with the angels now:
At rest forevermore.
Protected in a special place,
Until your paths can cross once more.
Taken from this land too quick:
It seems just so unfair.
But the angels take the special ones,
To flourish with them there.
Your hearts must ache so badly.
Your eyes must brim with tears.
To lose a cherished loved one
Is beyond our wildest fears.
But your dear babe will prosper
In a land that’s worry-free.
Sending strength that’s an-imagined:
Casting rays of light: You’ll see.
And when you need a cuddle
In those times you miss them most,
Glance inwards and they’ll be right there:
Your hearts will be their host.

Whether is is your fourth loss.

Whether you already have a child.
Whether you have two children.
Whether you have three children or more.

Your pregnancy loss matters.
Your grief matters.
Your tears matter.
You matter…
