Good teaching enlightens about today’s title, and this article will not be about going to heaven or hell. It is about enjoying life on earth respectfully and having a fulfilled journey.
The world is not fair, but it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t.
In the system, the scheme of things, it seems like the logical thing to do to get ahead is to con someone, steal from some people, or oppress some sections of society.
In ‘the system is not broken, it is made this way’ scheme of things, some find themselves too greedy to wait and as such fall for some very inhumane tactics to get ahead.
In the good money economy, we’ve seen that those that create a solution to the existing problems are rewarded with success and money.
Dark side
You’ve probably heard about those people that take their kin to dark magic to be sacrificed so that they can be successful in business, jobs, etc.
You’ve also seen that in the present world, some people have been accused of creating problems, so that they can also create a solution to it and in turn cash on it.
The above two behaviors are inhuman and must be condemned in totality. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world but his soul suffer in torment?
For life, is not given by any human being and as such, taking it or tormenting others has a price.
Those that torment others might appear happy but the majority are not.
We’ve heard stories how some have to commit more crimes and sins against humanity in an attempt to gain fulfilment.
Life’s fulfillment is not gotten from amassing wealth through creating problems so that you can cash in on people’s misery.
The good book chastises us to do good and go our way without expecting anything in return.
This is the fulfillment that comes with contentment and life is better lived in the sincere service to others.
For what happiness is there in killing your own so as to get wealthy; emptiness
It should be a reality that life is not forever, and that at some appointed or unappointed time, we die and go away. Everybody will die.
So why are you amassing more than it is enough illegally?
It is emptiness.
What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his soul is not only about heaven and earth? Amassing illegally and living miserably is the hell, living peaceably in the service to others is heaven.
What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his soul?
A short story on the above clip from Kungfu Panda 3 move, where General Kai wants everything (wants to collect everyone’s chi*), in the end, he gets ‘the everything’ that he wanted but it ultimately destroys him.
For those who are lost, try to know yourself, what are your strengths and weaknesses, what can you usefully do, what do you love; this removes greed, jealousy, and malevolence from anyone’s heart.
