POSTER: Nuria Store Book festival
SHARE

The Nairobi Book Festival organised by Nuria Store is ongoing at the Macmillan Library.

The festival brings together authors and readers at one central place to be Nuriarized.

Nuria Store founder and CEO Abdullahi Bulle first opened the store in 2015. It has been growing ever since.

The store has spawned a lot of book clubs and reignited readership among Kenyans and people in the East Africa region.

“What we have seen over the year is that Nuria has greatly helped local authors to flourish. The new local authors were being sidelined by the established bookstores before Nuria came into the scene”, Ekoroi Admin

Even Prof. Taban Lo Liyong, the man who once described East Africa as ‘a literary desert’ stocks his books at Nuria Store.

This signifies the importance of Nuria Store and the Nairobi Book Festival sponsored by them is just the beginning of great things to come.

Make time to pass by stands selling books at great discount at the Nairobi Book Festival.
