I caught up with Prince Raymond, an upcoming spoken word artist. Spoken word had been taking the art industry by storm lately and this new entrant is poised for big things. He spoke about his future.
The 19-year-old student says he started writing 3 years ago after his KCPE exams.
Recently he been writing spoken words to do with heartbreaks.
“For the past 3 months or so nimekuwa na concentrate kwa spoken word on heartbreaks but nimeandika one yenye Ni gospel na pia Zile zenye zinaongelea about our current society”, he told Ekoroi.com

So far nimerecord 1 spoken word audiovisual. But I have several pieces which I will be recording soon
What inspires you?
The thing that keeps me moving is that I still believe spoken word is my pathway in this life ..and it is my destiny
Any favorite food, joint, drink?
Favorite food…Yams, Arrowroots…
What should we expect in the future?
In 2 years time .. everyone in this country will be referring to me as the best spoken word artist in Kenya.
