The ongoing testing of Members of National Assembly and the Senate for coronavirus has yielded 17.
According to Lancet laboratories, the MPs were tested over the past few weeks as a compulsory measure to tame the spread of the virus since they are hight travel group.
“Most MPs had been on travel for official duties and on holiday up many weeks into the pandemic in China and that’s why it was compulsory to test them”, a medical personnel who did not wish to be named stated
Siaya Senator James Orengo has already revealed that he tested negative for COVID-19.
Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has not yet revealed his status though pictures of him gong to parliament to take the test has been widely shared.
It is not clear why the Senator was singing so much a few days later.
