What is Love is a Ring?
We did the video purely for the launch and didn’t expect that it would garner the kind of positive reaction at the launch. Contrary to what some people thought, Love is a Ring was not an assertion of polygamy or anything of that sort.

It was a sweet missive to the Kenyan woman, appreciating the beauty and “cultural aesthetic” of the Kenyan woman beyond tribe. And of course, therein you’ll find some clever “stereotypes” yet they only footnote the rhythm and the rhyme…The Kenyan woman is Naliaka, Adhiambo, Kwamboka, Cherop, Wambui, Fatuma, etc…she’s not necessarily defined by her name but she can be defined by the beauty of her culture…and of course character

There’s beauty in our individuality as tribes and from this we can “collage” love as one people…
