Kenya’s general election is over.
It is an open fact that Deputy President William Ruto who was announced the winner is not a clean man.
Am using the word ‘clean’ loosely, because as other are accused of looting the public coffers, his record goes way further.
Ruto was accused of many murders.
Killing is not an easy sin, but Ruto has painted himself to be a man of God.
He attends church, pays tithe and openly helps the poor.
On the other hand, let’s take his opponent, Raila Odinga.
The Odinga family is tied to ACK church, but they are not staunch and thus have been labelled ‘waganga’.
Pastors, priests, and prophets prophesied that the presidency is Raila’s to take.
Then he was not the winner and now a sharp focus on the church.
When they say it is peace and safety, a sudden destruction!.
Ruto’s history is not that colourful. Tried and found guilty of grabbing Adrian Muteshi’s land. Adrian died without receiving a penny despite a court order to that effect.
Accused by Jacob Juma of planning to murder him. Mr Juma was killed.
And also to insinuate, there’s something about the 2017 election murders and attempted murders that point to one man.
The one man who knows how power is taken, not given.
Then God was uttered, called upon by both sides.
Then God failed!
Did he?
One thing that Christians and maybe other religious people fail to understand is that God belongs to all, the purported good people and the purported bad people!
For Raila people prayed
For Ruto people prayed.
But prayer and prophecy alone are not enough, action must succeed prayers!
Ruto had his systems up, and paid 3 IEBC commissioners.
Had Wafula Chebukati print book 2 of 2 of form 34As which make it hard to know which is the correct form uploaded to the portal.
So Ruto prayed and went to work and in the throes of men, he won as per how the world should be.
Any other thing is politics, and yes, religion is politics. It depends on your argument before the most high.
I am always persuaded, by my own internal convictions, that it is men that created God.
And that God is the collective conscience, to do good as per the prevailing culture by men.
As per the nature of corrupt Kenya, the need to get ahead through shortcuts, their god prevailed and handed victory to the one who is like him.
What about punishment?
Yap, as per the explanation of god above, punishment follows the same pattern.
If in 3 years’ time, Ruto is rejected, then, the minds of Kenyans will be forming a new God to reject him.
Remember, the majority will and force of soul is the God here.
In conclusion, god is not yours alone,
the thief prays,
the priest also prays
if the thief is not caught
god listened to his prayers!
the priest prayed for safety instead of justice.
and the priest did not go to work!
