MASCULINITY: A man’s speech matters to his woman

By Jerr Rrej

I grew up in a violent atmosphere which created various nervous disorders. One disorder was how my speech was affected. My speech was fast, my thoughts would trail off and my voice was higher pitch.

The reason a man’s speech is fast is the same reason a dog eats his food fast. It comes from fear. The fear of not being heard or listened to. The fear of being cut off by other dominant voices. And so, a man will spill himself out quickly from that anxiety.

And when a man trails off is because he lacks belief that his thoughts are worth listening to and so he will skip himself forward as if he is fast forwarding his message to a bored audience. It comes from lack of self-belief.

The reason a man has a higher pitch to his voice (Besides a possible hormone issue) is his throat is restricted in fear and this tightens his airway which raises the pitch. When a man is relaxed in authority over himself, he will speak from the diaphragm and not from the throat.

So far what I have described is when a man from childhood anxiety is stuck in flight mode. This performance anxiety follows him into adulthood and creates disbelief in his speech by his own physical doubt in himself. We set the frame of thought on how others should perceive us.

The Wall Speaks book is about masculine frame, it teaches how to live with one woman. Frame is not about promiscuity. – Ekoroi

This is a reason why women like men who speak LOW and SLOW. It is a mastery of self and showcases a deep sense of self-belief. It shows a man is not in-flight mode which projects to the woman that she is safe from physical danger. Women crave protection from anxiety.

The good news is most speech behavior can be improved. A man can focus on speaking slower than he is used to and to speak from the diaphragm with a relaxed throat. This projects certainty of self and projects to the woman that she is with a strong protector.

Practice daily.
