Dr Stella Nyanzi’s book reading trip to Nakuru has been delayed after the car she was travelling in was involved in an accident.

According to her, the accident is non fatal.

“After enjoying the Rift Valley’s view on our way to Nakuru, we were involved in a five-ways traffic collision at Lari. Our vehicle crashed into a car that had crashed into a car that had knocked one off the highway. The car behind us crashed into us. Thankfully, we are all alive!”, she wrote on Twitter

Dr Nyanzi is headed to Ubuntu Café in Nakuru for the book reading event.

The event is hosted by Tribeless Youth under the title Creative Freedom.

The human rights defender has in recent weeks held book reading forums in Kenya’s capital of Nairobi.

Her books can be bought from Nuria Store.
