Former IEBC staff Dr Roselyn Akombe is causing sleepless nights to his former colleagues over the murder of Chris Msando.
It all started when in late July 2020, Dr Akombe wrote that she is ready to testify in an inquest over the murder of former IEBC ICR Director Chris Msando.
Though the IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati encouraged her to file a report with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the former CEO Chiloba warned her.
“We all want to see justice for the family of Msando and for Msando. We have said this right from the beginning. It appears there is something she knows which we don’t know. I believe she should provide that information to the investigative agencies. Perhaps it will help for the investigations to be completed,” – Chebukati
Chiloba wrote, ‘Dear Roselyn, do not attempt to rewrite history. Our silence is not your silence’, as shared by Dr Akombe in a tweet yesternight, Kenyan time.
Chris Msando, a family man, went missing in July 2017 a few days before elections, his body and that of his alleged lover Carol Ngumbu, a 21-year-old college student.
Msando, the most important man in ensuring the systems in the General Elections in 2017 run smothly had been murdered.
Stay strong, my sister. Ezra Chiloba is an arrogant CRIMINAL who lured Chris Msando for Despot Uhuru Kenyatta and other murderers like Karanja Kibicho and @FredMatiangi; stole the 2017 elections and our money for them; and ruined lives. His time is coming, just like Kivuitu's. https://t.co/BKXOGqOAab

Mr Chiloba’s threatening email could be understood by the law as consciousness of guilt. Why the mafiosi-like intimidation? You must continue to speak truth to power until the killers of Msando are held to account. Kenyans of good conscience salute you @DrRoselynAkombe!

A Commission of Inquiry should be set up ASAP to depose this issue. Ezra Chiloba's email speaks a lot- (A vibrating sound of guilt). @StateHouseKenya @ODPP_KE https://t.co/l6H94Mg80a
