Stella Nyanzi was at Nuria Store today.
She delivered copies of her books, No Roses from My Mouth, Eulogies of My Mouth and Don’t Come in My Mouth.
The three books are all poetry books.
“I delivered copies of my poetry books in Kenya to @NuriaStore in Nairobi on Moi Avenue, The One Building, Ground Floor, Shop No 12. For orders, please call @AbdullahiBulle on +254-729-829-697. It was wonderful to find copies of exiled author @KakwenzaRukira’s books in stock,” she tweeted.
In 2019, the academic was jailed for 15 months for ‘harrassing Uganda President Yoweri Museveni’.
Stella had penned a controversial poem titled, ‘Museveni’s mother’.
She won her appeal against the charges! She was supposed to be jailed for 18 months.
